Burning a wood stove can make your home extra dry in the winter, irritating sinuses and drying out the skin. Your house will be much more comfortable if you keep a pot of water simmering on the stove top to add moisture in the air.
You can add potpourri to add some great scents to the air too. For a natural scent try adding orange peels, cinnamon sticks or a few drops of food flavoring.
NOTE: these are not food grade pots, so please don't use them to make tea or otherwise consume the hot liquid.
I don't carry the painted kettles because they just result in a rusty mess. In order to avoid rust marks on your stove I advise using a trivet below your kettle or steamer.
